Role Summary
We at Infobahn are looking for a senior Presales Network Engineer with deep technical expertise in enterprise networking and strong experience in multi-vendor solution design. The role supports system integration engagements by owning technical discovery, architecture design, and presales solutioning across campus, data center, WAN, SD-WAN, and wireless environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery sessions to assess customer requirements, existing infrastructure, and constraints
- Design end-to-end network architectures and integrated solutions across multiple OEM platforms
- Create HLDs, LLDs, network diagrams, and BOM/BoQs for presales opportunities
- Own technical responses for RFPs/RFIs, including compliance mapping and design justification
- Conduct solution walkthroughs, deep-dive technical presentations, and assist in PoCs
- Validate designs with OEMs and internal delivery teams to ensure implementability
- Support sales teams with technical inputs, sizing, and solution positioning
- Participate in solution handover and provide technical support during critical deployment phases
Technical Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on expertise in core networking technologies, including:
- Routing & Switching: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, STP
- Enterprise LAN & WLAN design
- Network security fundamentals (segmentation, ACLs, firewall integration)
- Proven experience designing solutions using multiple OEMs, including:
- Cisco (Enterprise, Wireless, Data Center, SD-WAN)
- Aruba
- Juniper
- Experience integrating heterogeneous environments and performing technology refresh / migration projects
- Exposure to SD-WAN, network monitoring, and automation tools is a plus
System Integrator Experience
- Experience working in a System Integrator or IT services organization
- Strong understanding of multi-vendor interoperability, licensing models, and solution lifecycle
- Ability to optimize designs balancing performance, scalability, and cost
Customer Interaction
- Strong customer-facing skills with the ability to lead technical discussions
- Comfortable engaging with customer network teams, architects, and technical decision-makers
- Ability to translate business and operational requirements into technical designs
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent
- Relevant certifications such as CCNP/CCIE, JNCIP/JNCIE, Aruba certifications preferred
